2024: A time to celebrate, stand Up for human rights

Every April, communities across the country recognize Arab Americans throughout history and recognize their invaluable contributions to our country. This month also serves as a time to be hyper-focused on combating Anti-Arab bigotry and to challenge stereotypes and prejudices.

President President Biden – in 2021 – declared April National Arab American Heritage Month to recognize the 3.5 million Arab Americans that exemplify “so much of what our country stands for: Hard work, resilience, compassion and generosity,” said U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken in a statement.

This year, we mark National Arab American Heritage Month at a time of immense pain. More than 30,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, many of them civilians, including thousands of children. shades Magazine condemns all acts of hate and violence against innocent human life – anytime … anywhere.
